Penguin Christmas

I created this for today's Sweet Stop Sketch, this week there is a spin; a spin of Christmas. So dust off those Christmas stamps and let's start on our Christmas cards. I used the penguin digi from Sweet 'N Sassy, to learn how to get yours go here. I colored him with copics and then paper pieced the scarf, yes you can paper piece with digi's. I print my image on patterened paper and cut it out just like stamping, easy peasy! My card is very simple, I added sewing, a few kaiser Craft Pearls, and the SU HPH with the sentiment. I hope you play along with us this week, to see all the other Sweet Stop creations go here. I cannot wait to see what you come up with, be sure to use the code SSS13 when uploading to galleries and forums. Enjoy your weekend!

He Cares For You

I created this card for this past weekends WSC88, you can go to Jenn's blog to learn all the details, it is here. I really had fun with this one, I luv adding all the different panels and different dp's. I added SU filigree brads for the flowers rather than stamping blooms...I think it turned out sooo cute. I added a Martha Stewart butterfly to the circles that are punched out. Of course I ran my Janome over the back panel, I gotta get some sewing in there somewhere...hehehehe. I hope you like today's card and I really hope you have a wonderful day! Take time to hug someone today and say something positive to them, we all need encouragement and love, enjoy. You can see all the other WSC88 cards over at SCS here.

God Grant Me Serenity

Good mojo Monday morning, is this a great sketch or what? Julee continues to WOW us with her sketches, they are ones I know I return to over and over again. I used the Verve sets Serenity and Thankful Blossoms, I used one of the new in colors from SU called Rich Razzleberry and the fabulous dp that matches this color called Cottage Wall. I colored the tiny blossom with SU rich razzleberry marker and copics. I added a cluster of white pearls to the center and tied the white ribbon in a bow. Be sure to head over to the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog and check out the other mojo makers awesome creations. Enjoy your Monday and I hope you have time to play with the mojo sketch this week.

I created this for today's IC188 and for the Viva la Verve VLVJUL03 sketch with a twist, the twist is scoring. I could not wait to use my new SU goodies, so I am not sure if you can see the scoring but it is there. I scored horizontal lines on the piece of dp under the scipture sentiment. I used this piece of inspiration shown here. I used the new in color Rich Razzleberry and the new dp from SU called Cottage Wall. I luv the new wide striped ribbon, it comes in awesome colors this year. I used the stamp sets from Verve, I first stamped the background stamp from the Wishful Elegance set and then stamped the Plain Janes Hebrews 11:1 on top. I hope you like my card using the new SU goodies. Enjoy your weekend! Don't forget to check out my blog candy, top post on my blog.
